Project No. 001: COG-RTW

Study of employment outcomes at 6 and 12 months in patients after acquired brain injury (ABI), with or without cognitive assessment using Cog-First.

Study of employment outcomes at 6 and 12 months in patients after acquired brain injury (ABI), with or without cognitive assessment using Cog-First.

Clinical investigation: a comparative, randomized, prospective, multicenter study with two parallel groups.
Project coordinators:

Dr C. Heslot – Prof. Mandonnet – Dr Bourdillon – Prof. Goutany

Medical Device

The Cog-First software is a cognitive self-assessment tool and enables cognitive assessment of patients discharged home.
This software is provided by the company Happyneuron.

Centers

NeuroDM Center – Lariboisière Hospital, Beaujon Hospital, A. de Rothschild Foundation Hospital

Primary objective

To compare, using a questionnaire, the rate and time to return to work between two groups of patients with ABI. The objective is to determine the impact of early cognitive screening with Cog-First on return to work after neurosurgical intervention.

Project No. 002: NeuroDM SACRAL-TRACH

Evaluation of a medical device (SaMD) for 3D modeling and automated tractography of the sacral nerves

Evaluation of a medical device (SaMD) for 3D modeling and automated tractography of the sacral nerves

Clinical investigation: a prospective, interventional, comparative, non-randomized Phase 2 study. This protocol aims to assess the effectiveness of an innovative medical device as a surgical decision-support tool.
Project coordinators:

Dr Ariana FAVA

The Medical Device

REPLICO is a cloud platform (SaaS) dedicated to supporting preoperative planning. It is based on the Visionerves method, combining two types of Artificial Intelligence:

  • Deep Learning: For automated segmentation of anatomical structures from MRI or CT scans.

  • Symbolic AI: For automated reconstruction and identification of nerves (tractography) using multidirectional diffusion MRI.

Center

NeuroDM Center – Lariboisière Hospital

Primary objective

To validate the effectiveness of preoperative planning using the REPLICO 3D modeling system. The aim is to accurately integrate segmentation and reconstruction of nerves in the pelvic region in patients with sacral chordoma tumors, in order to improve the safety of the surgical procedure.
